From time to time I receive some very nice emails complimenting this site. I've decided to start posting some of these (for the most part they are verbatim, however, some have been edited for typos and to conserve space):

FROM DIANA RICO, AUTHOR OF "KOVACSLAND: A BIOGRAPHY OF ERNIE KOVACS: "

"Dear Al, Wow, what a fun and loving site you have created in honor of Ernie! I wrote "Kovacsland" so many years ago I'm not in the Ernie loop these days, but I happened to be looking something up and came across your site. Bravo! " It's been real, Diana Rico

FROM KELLY DEUTSCH, THE WEBMASTER OF EDIE ADAMS’ TWO WEB SITES:

"Hi Al, Thanks so much for the accolades regarding erniekovacs.org. And thank you even more for adding us to YOUR links! I tried to add links with class and your web site definitely falls in that category. I also appreciate you receiving our newsletters. WE APPRECIATE FANS LIKE YOU!" FROM DAVID WALLEY, THE THE AUTHOR OF "NOTHING IN MODERATION: A BIOGRAPHY OF ERNIE KOVACS"
(ALSO KNOWN AS THE "ERNIE KOVACS PHILE":

Hi Al,

David Walley here...."the" David Walley I hesitate to add. Nice site!

BTW, I also have a play about Ernie Kovacs called "Nothing in Moderation". It's all dramaturged and ready to go. Back in '93 I met up with a New York actor, Steven Keats, while he and I were in a play at the Williamstown Theater Festival. Keats and I hit it off, we both used to listen to Jean Shepherd when younger, 'about the same age, etc. Anyway I'd been fiddling with the play in various incarnations since the late Eighties and I had a reading at the NY loft of Tom O'Horgan, a director for the NY Public Theater who did, way back when "Lenny!" a play about Lenny Bruce, and "Futz"...all sorts of avant garde stuff. We had a VERY professional reading with off-b'Way actors which went well, then Steven passed....poof!

Keep up the good works... usually, Davod

(ED. NOTE- DAVID WALLEY PASSED AWAY ON AUGUST 5TH 2006)

"Your site is beautiful. Thanks for creating it. I enjoy it. It was also good to see Mr. Kovacs’ autograph on several places on your site, which validates my autographed copy of "Zoomar." Thanks again for the joyful site." Maureen Morrison

MORE FROM BILL MAHER, THE FAN WHO SENT ME AN ORIGINAL EEFMS CARD:

"Hi Al, You do a great job with this site........ the EEFMS card does have a lot of miles on it.... No, you are correct, I am not THE Bill Maher.. This has served to get me last minute reservations at a few restaurants and hotels and I am a fan of his.... Again... great job. " Bill Maher
